June Inspiration - last one

Hello all and welcome to the half-way point of the year!  Can you believe it!

Firstly, I'd like to apologise for the lack of inspiration last month.  I have had a lot on the proverbial plate over the last little while, and it's not going to settle down anytime soon.  So, after much consideration and a reality check or two, I have decided that this will be the last month for BTD to run. 

I want to thank all those who have joined in and shared their gorgeous pages with us.  It truly has being a joy seeing how you have all interpreted the rooms and applied various aspects of inspiration to your pages.

February Inspiration

And now, to introduce our Guest CT Member for this month, the lovely Rebekkah Lynch!

Here's a bit about Rebekkah:  

Hi !

I’m Rebekkah .

I live in Melbourne’s south eastern suburbs with my fiancé Darrel and our two ratbags Trinity who is 2 (going on 5) and Dawson who turns 1 this month.  We are getting married later this year.

I have been scrapping just on 6 years now and still love it. I was introduced to it at a friend’s scrapping party. Whilst there another person told me about a new scrapping shop nearby and I decided to check it out. I fell in love with all the products, learned how to use them and haven’t looked back.

This wonderful hobby has given me a new lease on life. I have made some wonderful lifelong friends both in real life and online that I wouldn’t have met otherwise and its fantastic to be able to share your excitement with about a new range of papers with that nobody else gets..

It has enabled me to chronicle and journal our life as a couple and now a family and I absolutely love all the mischief my munchkins  get up to – it makes for some interesting pages.

Currently I am proudly designing for Scrap with V, Southern Girls Challenges. I also own and run Scrap that Song challenge blog and have just taken over at Challenge Heaven as the new owner there.

I was so surprised and pleased as punch that Catie asked me to be a Guest Designer for Beyond the Door this month as I have been doing the rooms for a while now and they are always fresh and inspiring. It’s such an original concept for a challenge blog which is what keeps me coming back.. to see what lays beyond the door..

This is my take on the Feb Challenge Room, which I loved this month. I found the colours fantastic and inspiring to work with.  I hope you give it a try as well. Good luck !

"My name is Anna M. Wolleben and I am a globetrotter: grew up in Poland, studied and lived for over 10 years in Germany, immigrated to Canada and now recently I am in South Africa (Cape Town). I started with cardmaking in 2006 after I lost a twin pregnancy. It was a kind of  therapy for me after the very painful experience. 

Since then, I now have 2 children: Jakob (2.5) and Lisa (5 months) and I've started scrapbooking. There are so many pictures that need to be "framed" to keep the memories alive in the digital photography era. I love to use ribbon and stamps. The crafting gives me balance and fulfillment. When I don't scrap I enjoy books, blogging and learning languages!"

I find inspiration from daily events ( catalouges fashion) I like to use the old and the new techniques

when designing a new layout as the saying says what's old is new again. 

 

I class my style as a slightly grunge as i love using lots of misting and paint and always use white as my base cardstock.

 

I was first published in 2008 and even though i don't submit a hung amount still have projects and layouts published

in the magazines.
