So being the first day of the month, it means of course that we have a new room to inspire you. Now, I know traditionally in December most challenges ask for Christmas layouts, so I thought I'd be a bit different and get the girls to vote on a SUNROOM - for Summer you see! So, here is this month's very pretty sunny sunroom:
Now, I must say, I have been COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY by the CT samples we have for you this month! The girls have really created some amazing work to help inspire you. Here are the current CT samples:
Malinda
Catie
Nicolee
Louise (Scrapbooking Master 2011 Winner!!! Congratulations Lou!)
How STUNNING is this layout?!?! We have been soooooo lucky to have Lou on our team for the last 7 months or so. I have LOVED seeing her projects every month and the way she interprets each room and puts together such gorgeous projects to inspire us. Sadly, this is Lou's last month with BTD, as next year, she will be kinda busy with a special role as a, umm, what was it called again.......oh yeah - MASTER!!!! Thank you so much Lou for all your efforts during your time with us and may I say, I am really, REALLY going to miss working with you! It is such a pleasure to work with you, and you are always such a delight. I feel honoured to have had you on this team, and I hope you'll be able to join in from time to time, and inspire us some more. xxxxxSo, now that I have dried my eyes and had a few sniffles ;) as you know, we had a CT callout and we have chosen 5 very talented ladies to join our CT team. I will introduce them all to you over the next few weeks, but here is a list of who they all are:
1. Lindy Gillespie
2. Anna Wolleben
3. Rachael Funnel
4. Agnieszka vel Bellaidea
5. Amanda Hartmann
The first off the block is Amanda, and here is her fabulous, first ever BTD sample.
My name is Amanda Hartmann and I have been scrapbooking for 10 years with my
enormous but well-organised stash of things. I have my own scrap space and
always scrap religiously on Friday nights. I really like to power scrap – to do
as many layouts as possible as I can during a crop – to do this, I plan and
prepare papers and layout ideas before I arrive at the crop.
I have been on a few Creative Teams and had my first pages published in Scrapbooking Memories in 2010. I share my work on my blog http://talkandshare-amahar t.blogspot.com/ and with my friends via the wonders of facebook. I currently create for online businesses Red Earth
Scrapping and Handmade Halo.
I like Thickers and using clusters of interesting embellishments. I also enjoy the challenge of coordinating different patterned papers from different manufacturers.
For my day job, I run my own business as a Speech Pathologist and am mother to 3 beautiful girls – who are the main subjects of my scrap pages.

And, we have a very special Guest CT Member this month... the gorgeous Marelle Jackman!
My name is Marelle Jackman and I have been scrapping for around 8 years! I
have been published in Scrapbooking Memories, Scrapbooking Creations, and
soon to be published in Creating Keepsakes.
I am thrilled to be asked to
be Guest DT this month and I adored the room -
I took inspiration from the
splashes of green - I misted some blue
patterened paper with green mist and
shimmerz mist and used some
butterscotch alcohol inks to create the splashes
of yellow. Thanks Catie
for inviting me to be December's Guest DT.
I am
sure you will find inspiration in this month's room. I look forward to
seeing your interpretations of this gorgeous room.
My blog address is:
myscrapmusings.blogspot.com if you would like to come
and say hi.
This is Marelle's gorgeous sample. Thanks so much for joining us again Marelle; it's always a pleasure!! xxx
So there you have it... one monster post for the first of the month... keep watching this space over the next couple of weeks to find out more about our new CT members. And don't forget to share your projects with us and what inspired you in this month's room. Thanks for looking!
