Introducing....

Hello everyone and welcome to Beyond the Door Scrap Challenge!! I am very excited to post this and hope that you are all just as excited to be here!

My name is Catherine (aka Catie) and I am a SAHM of 4 little darlings. I originally started out as a card maker a couple of years ago, and still continue to make and sell cards, and it inevitably led me to scrapping... I started out making an album for my best friend's hens do, and then started on albums for my children and it all snowballed from there! I am currently a Creative Memories consultant, and love inspiring other people to tell their stories and record their lives for their families. I don't really have a particular style that I can identify, but rather, I believe I am a fairly versatile scrapper. I don't really have one particular favourite product or brand, but I do love flowers and butterflies and I adore glimmermists. I guess eclectic sums me up pretty well. I have several layouts being published in the next few issues of Scrapbooking Memories and Scrapbook Creations as well as a couple in Creating Keepsakes and one in a future issue of Scrapbook Magazine (UK).

I love to draw inspiration from all kinds of sources in creating my pages, and particularly love looking at designer rooms and taking in the colours, textures, patterns and objects of a room and translating all that onto a layout, card, or OTP project. Hence 'Beyond The Door' was born... I hope you enjoy these rooms and challenges as much as I do and that these challenges help you to step outside your comfort zone and inspire you to expand your scrapping horizons!!
